The hirer is responsible for insurance and for the payment of any loss or damage to all equipment on hire. A deposit cheque of £100 is required at time of hire. On return of equipment an invoice will be issued. In the event of non-payment after 30 days f the date of invoice or the equipment being returned in a faulty condition, the deposit will be forfeited. Staff at storage points cannot give advice. Hirers should ensure that the equipment is suitable for their purpose for which it is hired. Equipment must not be modified. The Arts Council of Bexley will not accept claims arising from accidents or damage by hire of equipment or for any consequential loss. Hire rates are for one week, unless otherwise specified, to include collection and return.
The minimum period of hire is 7 days. Bookings will not be confirmed until the hire form has been completed and returned together with the deposit. Cheques should be made payable to The Arts Council of Bexley. The Arts Council of Bexley's storage site is at the Sidcup Adult Education Centre, Alma Road, Sidcup. Hire equipment must be collected and returned between 10.00am - 1.30pm, Tuesday - Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
We regret that the Arts Council of Bexley staff are not available to assist with loading/unloading. The Arts Council of Bexley recommends that it is advisable to seek professional help in transportation of heavy equipment from the storage site.
